1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Slate ("the Service"), operated by Slate ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Slate is a web-based eLearning authoring platform that allows users to create, edit, and export online courses in SCORM-compatible formats. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
Free Tier
Slate offers a free tier that allows you to create and edit courses with limited features. The free tier does not require a credit card. You may upgrade to a paid subscription at any time to access additional features and increased limits.

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing is $29 USD/month for monthly billing or $319 USD/year for annual billing (a savings of $29 compared to monthly). Canadian dollar pricing is also available at $39 CAD/month or $429 CAD/year.
Billing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance based on your chosen plan. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
No Refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription period. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
